Training Plan
In 11th grade, I went on a Math Day field trip to UIC. I had no appreciation for brutalism back then, and I wanted beer, so I convinced a couple of other math nerds to ditch the official program and go downtown in search of a convenience store with lax carding policies.
We were stopped on the bridge by a homeless dude who was telling his sad story to the football player who previously knew better than to hang out with people like me.
Come on, Mike, Dad's gonna be mad we're late, I said, trying to break him free.
The man looked at me, looked at my shoes, and said, "If you stop running, you're going to get fat."
With AI and my own data, I am building a plan to get me running again, taking into account my sleep and stress data, alternating run walk programs with cycling on nice spring days and indoor rowing on bad spring days.
