This play, whatever it is called, is our annual Ode to Dad. It has been performed in the following iterations and venues :

On Fathers Day, 97, DEAD DADS was performed for the first time at Chicago's La Piazza Cafe (now known as "Starbucks"). It featured Shannon as Surfer Girl and The Old Dead Guy, and Tamara as Girl Reading from the Script She'd Written That Morning. This version included pieces written and performed by Lotti Pharriss about her dead dad, Bruce Pharriss. This show ran for two months.

On Fathers Day, 1998, we performed DADWATCH 98 at the Blue Rider Theater in Chicago, IL. This version featured the stage debut of Michelle Manning Fruit, and included more dancing and silliness. The following weekend we performed two SRO shows at the Solo Arts Theater, former home to the Upright Citizens Brigade.

On Fathers Day, 1999, Tamara was in Minneapolis with her honey Jim, Shannon was in New York City, and Michelle was home wondering where everyone went anyway.

On HALLOWEEN, 1999, join us in celebrating the Mexican holiday DIA DE LOS MUERTOS PADRES at the UCB Theater in New York City.
