[*]s[*] : Damned taken to hell

We read in the eleventh chapter of Deuteronomy that Dathan and Abiram, who lived in the middle of Israel, were swallowed up by the earth, with their houses and tents, because they kept not the commandments of God. By Dathan and Abiram are meant those sinners who, caring not for the Catholic Law nor the Law of the Decalogue, go down into hell, which is the place of sinners, full of guile and of fire, which will devour them; and with the devil they shall be punished.

We read in the nineteenth chapter of Genesis that for the sins of the men of Sodom and Gomorrah the Lord sent fire from heaven upon those cities; and they were both overturned. By Sodom and Gomorrah are meant those sinners living upon earth according to the lusts of the flesh, which blind their eyes; and when the morning shall rise there will appear all the sinners on earth; and alive they will be doomed to hell and damned.
